MIAE 215 Labs (all sections)
Important notes:
There are 3 labs this term and a project based on the labs.
Only the project is handed in.
Solutions for the lab questions are posted. Only look at them after you have attempted the questions.
The lab videos must first be downloaded and then played with VLC player, otherwise you may not hear any audio.
The lab files use *.rar file format. Please see lesson #1 of the mini-course for how to extract this type of file if you don’t already know how:

Arduino Kit
The labs are performed using an Arduino kit. Information on where to get this kit are given in the link below:

MIAE 215 Arduino Project
https://users.encs.concordia.ca/~bwgordon/MIAE_215_arduino_project.html
The project is due on the last day of classes -- April 12, 2025 this term.
Please start working on the project as soon as possible.
MIAE 215 Lab Schedule
Here is the lab schedule:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qro_jRGzHMiaSgvd6o6eY1GUHfQa3AvU/view?usp=sharing
The schedule includes the lab room numbers along with the sections / times for the labs.
You can attend other lab sections if there is room, but please try to stick to your assigned lab section if possible.
It's expected you read over and attempt to complete the posted online lab before you attend the in-person lab.
If you can solve the lab questions or don't have any questions about the lab, then you don't have to attend the in-person lab session (ie lab attendance is optional).
Feel free to take the online labs early, if possible, so you can begin working on your project earlier.
Note that 10% of the final exam is composed of questions similar to the Arduino labs / project, so it’s important you work hard on the Arduino labs / project.
