Dr. Chun Wang is Associate Professor in the Concordia Institute for Information Systems Engineering (CIISE) at Concordia University in Montreal and an adjunct research professor at the University of Western Ontario. He received a PhD from the University of Western Ontario in 2008 for his work in economic models for decentralized scheduling. Before joining CIISE, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the EK3 innovation lab at the University of Western Ontario. In this lab, he conducted promotion management software systems research in various projects sponsored by EK3 Technologies Inc. and the Ontario Centers of Excellence. Wang’s research focuses on e-Supply Chain, distributed systems engineering, service computing, energy modeling in cloud computing, algorithmic mechanism design, and multi-agent systems. In addition to his academic research experience, Wang has many years’ experience in the software industry. He worked as a software engineer and a project manager for China National Petroleum Corporation from 1990 to 2000.
