Research interests

My research interests falls in the broad area of wireless communications and signal Processing and includes:
- Communication theory.
- Cognitive Radio Networks.
- Cooperative communications and relay networks.

Technical Experience

I have a technical experience as an Application Engineer working for “Research and Development International” (RDI), Cairo, Egypt. As part of a development team, my role was to develop an efficient mobile-based text localization algorithm and OCR.

Also, in the applied research center of “Qatar University Wireless Innovation Center” (QUWIC), in Doha, Qatar, as a Systems Engineer. I worked on designing and developing algorithms for wireless sensor networks for a variety of applications including medical applications such as: an efficient seizure detection and environmental monitoring applications such as air quality monitoring systems.
