I am a Ph.D. student at the VidPro Research Group, Dept. of Electrical & Computer Engineering, Concordia University, Canada. I am working under the supervision of Prof. Aishy Amer. I earned my M.A.Sc. in Electrical & Computer Engineering form Concordia University in 2007 and B.Eng. (First Class Honors) in Electronic Engineering from the University of Central Lancashire, England in 1998.

Moreover, I have been with DALSA, where I have held various positions ranging from Applications Engineer to Senior FPGA Architect in the R&D department since 1999. My primary responsibilities at DALSA have been to research, architect, and deliver cutting-edge image/video processing applications on embedded machine vision products.
