Biography

Ferhat Khendek received a Bachelor degree (Ingénieur d’Etat) in Computer Engineering, option Software, from Université de Tizi Ouzou, Algeria,

the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from Université de Montréal.

Ferhat Khendek joined the Computer Science Department of Concordia University in 1994 as a Lecturer.

In 1996, he joined the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department as Assistant Professor.

He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2000, and to Professor in 2007.

Ferhat Khendek held the NSERC/Ericsson Senior Industrial Research Chair in Model Based Software Management, from September 2011 to December 2022.

Ferhat Khendek is a member of l'Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
