My current interest are mainly in Advanced Computer Graphics. More specifically, Point-Based graphics and Computer Vision. An upcoming proposal will be holding the possibility of studying the effect of semantics in Computer Vision and how both domains can interact together to give exact evalutaions. According to Point-Based graphics, some modeling and animation techniques still are needed. I'm mostly interested in finding standards for simulating effects like wind, fluids, and fire. This proposal won the 39th position as the best proposal in the Quebec Funds for Research in Nature and Technology (FQRNT/FCAR) for 2005/2006.
