measurement: wireless sensor network
With the advance in measurement technology since mid-80s, sensors can go on wireless and on the networks. A few references are added to this database on the general topic of measurements and building/constructions. Other sysmtems include: power line communication (PLC, X-10), bus line communication and radio frequency (RF) communication.
