The climate conditions on North of Portugal requires that constructions must be made following specific rules to prevent the appearance and development of moulds. However, it is easy to find buildings where poor design didn't take to account construction procedures to prevent moistures related problems. This paper tries to define the main factors that may contribute to the development of moulds, and a lot of possible solutions to solve the problem. |
