Description of the SAF

Created in 2002 by CRIAQ(Consortium for Research and Innovation in Aerospace in Quebec), Student Aerospace Forum (SAF) is an opportunity to meet industry representatives, students in all faculties of engineering and university research groups.

Thanks to CRIAQ's support, SAF is a completely free event for students. In fact, this includes free transportation and accommodation (hotel) for students from outside the region of Montreal, some meals and admission to the forum. In this way, we ensure that the forum is accessible to a larger body of students of Quebec.

The 7th edition of SAF will be held on September 24 and 25, 2008 in Montreal at Concordia University under the theme:

“Challenges of Innovations.”

With that theme, SAF wants to focus on career opportunities in aeronautics and aerospace in Quebec, while pointing out the innovative character of the local companies. SAF team proposes to explore the problems encountered by the aerospace industry, the possibilities and the challenges it will have to face to be in the frontline for the future.

On the schedule of the 7th edition are: conferences, workshops, kiosks, contests, debates and much more! Do not miss your chance to meet your peers at SAF 2008!
