About my research

 

I am doing research in Computer Graphics for over ten years and I supervised and mentored several Bachelor, Masters and PhD students. My research portfolio is diverse and includes geometric modeling, animation, 2D to 3D reconstruction, etc. One important focus spatio-temporal geometry acquisition (or 4D geometry acquisition) with vast applications in many disciplines ranging from games, engineering, e-commerce to medical.

 

About working with me

 

My aim is to perform high quality research and publish in the highest impact conferences and journals in computer graphics. I am cultivating a style of supervision designed to inspire and stimulate the creativity of my students so they, in turn, can produce the best possible research work. The research can be selected from a long list of ongoing projects or developed together with the students based on their personal interests. Expectation and study plan

 

I expect my students to perform original research that contributed to the advances of the state of the art. I expect the resulting work to be published in conferences and journals in Computer Graphics field.

 

In order to perform research in computer graphics the students are expected to have outstanding programming skills and advanced knowledge of C/C++ and Matlab. They also should take most of the graphics related courses at Concordia.
