PhD & MASc
Graduate Studies in Materials Science and Engineering fields at the Master’s and PhD levels are available at the Mechanical Engineering Department of Concordia University. This includes:
- Metallic Materials
- Polymers
- Composites
If you are interested in joining the TMG group, please fill in the Prospective Students prescreening info.
PhD students with NSERC Scholarship will receive additional $22,500/yr for three years when joining TMG. Students at the Masters level will receive $16,000/yr for three two when joining TMG.</font> </font>
Postdoctoral Fellows (PDF’s)
I have openings for three post-doc’s in the following research areas:
- Experimental Investigation and Thermodynamic Modeling of the Phase Equlibria in Mg Alloys Systems (includes CALPHAD approach, diffusion couple experiments, SEM/WDS, DSC, XRD.. etc)
- Development of Water Erosion Resistant Surface Treatments (including coatings, nitriding, laser peening.. etc)
- Modeling and Experimental Investigation of the Water Impingement Phenomenon.
