*Development of self-consistent and accurate thermodynamic models for light metal alloy systems for automotive and aerospace applications. Diffusion couple based approach is employed for carrying out the experiments to generate the experimental information to compliment the literature. Optimization of the model parameters is carried out using FactSage software package.
