I arrived to Canada in 1998 to do my Ph.D. at the Materials Engineering Department of McGill University which I finished in 2001. Research
My research efforts fit into two primary focus areas: (1) thermodynamics of materials; and (2) the development and characterization of novel materials. In my research, I use thermodynamic modeling and experimental investigation of phase equilibria as means to understand existing materials and to develop new ones.
