M.R. Soleymani received the B.S. from the University of Tehran in 1976, M.S. from San Jose State University in 1977, and a Ph.D. degree from Concordia University in 1987. (all in Electrical Engineering). From 1987 to 1990, he was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, McGill University. From Oct. 1990 to January 1998, he was with EMS Technologies Ltd. (formerly Spar Aerospace Ltd.), where he had the leading role in the design and development of several satellite communications systems. Professor Reza Soleymani is the Director of Wireless and Satellite Communication Group.
Yousef Shayan received his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Concordia University in 1990. Since 1988, he has worked in several wireless communication companies in different capacities. He has worked in the research and development departments of SR Telecom, Spar Aerospace, Harris, EMS Technologies, and BroadTel Communications, a company he co-founded.

She started the Ph.D. program on January 2015 and graduated in 2020 in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Concordia University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Her research interests are in digital wireless communications, including information theory, channel coding, rateless codes, and interference mitigation techniques.

Prior to joining Concordia University, He was a Project Manager working in the broadcast industry for quite a few radio stations in the Middle East (Nile and Noujoum FM in Egypt Sep 2002–Aug 2003, Hi and Hala FM in Oman Jan 2006-Jun 2008 and Radio 1 in Lebanon up to 2005). His current research interests include digital and wireless communications, information theory and coding, internet of things and next generation of mobile communications, and data analytics. He is currently a visiting professor at the Lebanese University in Beirut where he established the new data science program at the faculty of information. Current projects:
• IoT based network for providing preventive and predictive maintenance modeling system for telecommunication Sites in Lebanon.
• IoT based irrigation system for large farms in Lebanon.
He is a member of the order of engineers in Quebec, the IEEE and the PMI associations.

By seamlessly integrating edge caching, AI methodologies, and coding theory, Behnaz has introduced groundbreaking approaches that have led to significant improvements in user quality of experience (QoE) and substantial reductions in transmission rates of delivery services.
Prior to pursuing her doctorate, she completed her master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering at Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran, Iran. Her master's research focused on IoT-driven and smart home applications, with a strong emphasis on energy efficiency and low-latency performance in remote sensing. Furthermore, Behnaz has five years of valuable experience as a Network Engineer in the Information Technology industry, providing her with a solid foundation in real-world network dynamics.
Her current research interests encompass artificial intelligence, data-driven methodologies, wireless communications, and optimization.
