Opening for a PhD candidate for an industrial R&D project
Thesis topic: “Development of an Electropolishing Method for Titanium Parts Manufactured by Selective Laser Melting”
The successful applicant will work at DynaTool Industries (http://www.dyna-tool.com/index.asp) and will be registered as a PhD candidate in the department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, Concordia University.
Objective: transfer the developed technology from lab-scale work-pieces to real manufactured parts.

We look for
We seek applications from highly motivated students having achieved a first-class cumulative average (A-) during his master degree. Industrial experience is an asset.
Successful candidate should have a strong background in at least three of the following fields:
- Mechanical Design
- Instrumentation
- Control
- Computer Programming
- Modeling of multi-physics systems
Strong English spoken and written skills are required.
French is not required but desirable.
Start date: May 2011 or September 2011 latest
