Research Partnership with Google, National Defence and NSERC

In collaboration with Google and National Defence, under an NSERC research partnership program, we have been awarded a 3-year research grant on the topic of "Software Fingerprinting for Automated Malicious Code Analysis". The project pertains to the domain of software reverse engineering with applications to malware analysis. The project goals are the development of new malware analysis techniques, with their associated theoretical foundations, algorithms and tools to be run in a realistic reverse engineering environments so that the malware reverse engineering process be accelerated. The project started on August 1st, 2013.
