| Title |
CAD Methods for LNA Design in CMOS Technology |
| Supervisor |
Devabhaktuni, V. & Raut, R. |
| Description |
Low-noise amplifiers (LNAs) are critical components for a variety of electronic circuits. Computer aided design (CAD) tools for LNA designs are in great demand. The group will develop a systematic CAD approach for the design of LNAs in CMOS technology. The approach will be simplified into multiple phases. In the first phase, a detailed pre-analysis of the design specifications will be carried out. In the design phase, concepts of single-stage design will be exploited and the LNA will be designed in a modular fashion. Finally, this design will be put through a tuning phase. Practical LNA design examples will be presented. |
