This database contains ultrasound channel data from a single scan of anechoic cylinders acquired with an L11-5v linear array transducer on a Vantage 256 system (Verasonics) imaging a multi-purpose, multi-tissue phantom (Model 040GSE, CIRS). To introduce controlled physical aberration, we placed a 1–3 mm thin agar-based tissue-mimicking layer between the probe and the phantom, formulated with Metamucil (psyllium husk) as a scattering agent and a fine oil-in-water emulsion of vegetable fat stabilized with polysorbate-80 to create sub-wavelength heterogeneities. These data provide a reproducible benchmark for developing and evaluating ultrasound aberration correction and beamforming methods under realistic but well-controlled conditions.
