I am currently seeking students to work on several projects. While the bulk of my funds are to develop analytical methods for evaluating the costs and risks associated with water treatment technologies and policy options, I am also interested in healthcare systems models as well as terrorism applications. An ideal student would have the following combination of skills and interests:

  • Systems modeling or operations research

  • Environmental engineering knowledge or experience, especially for waste water, drinking water or greywater systems

  • Knowledge or interest in quantitative policy analysis or risk analysis

In addition to graduate students, I have been very successful conducting research with undergraduate students, many of whom have won graduate fellowships to highly competitive graduate programs.

Interested students should send a CV to ketra.schmitt@concordia.ca.
