Cyber Security Researcher
I am a cybersecurity researcher who is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Information Systems
Security at Concordia University.
My research explores advanced methods on vulnerability detection, evaluates existing
state-of-the-art tools, identifying their limitations and
proposing innovative solutions that surpass previous methodologies.
With a decade-long work experience as a Senior Security Engineer, I managed an entreprise-wide information security program which successfully improved threat detection and response rates significantly through a combination of best practices spans application vulnerability assessment, malware analysis, log analysis, and threat intelligence. I has also played a pivotal role in regulatory compliance, leading the institution to ISO 27001 certification.
Outside of research, I shares my insights through blogging and active participation in the open-source community. I have over 400 vulnerability reports, with 30 classified as high or critical according to CVSS scores
