Servpro Industries, Inc, (2001), "Understanding mold in the property restoration industry", Gallatin, TN.
Abstract:
A research report providing information to persons associated with property damage mitigation and remediation of mold in the indoor environment.

Purpose

Servpro Industries, Inc. offers this report on "Understanding Mold in the Property Restoration Industry" to begin a process of discussion, proposals and responses. The report does not attempt to put forth a "solution" to the mold issue. The reader should be able to identify the contradicting opinions of professional organizations, academics and indoor air quality professionals. Therefore, SERVPRO invites all in the restoration industry to respond to the report's proposals and to offer suggestions on how to address the mitigation and remediation of mold-contaminated buildings. The ultimate goal is to help everyone work to promote a safe and healthy environment for all.
