Qualifications and assets

Prospective MASc or PhD applicants must have completed BSc or MASc/MSc, respectively, in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace (Aeronautics) Engineering or a related discipline.  

The main criteria for selection are academic excellence, communication skills, research experience, and background preparations. MATLAB or Python programming skill is considered a great asset.

How to apply

Interested MASc and PhD applicants should submit an expression of interest (EOI) to Dr. Ebenezer Ekow Essel (ebenezer.essel@concordia.ca). The EOI should include

• A cover letter (1 page)
• Personal statement (1-2 pages) tailored to the available position or current research topic in the lab that is of interest to the applicant
• A 1-page document highlighting any special circumstances that might have negatively impacted the academic/research performance of the applicant (optional)
• Detailed curriculum vitae
• Transcript (unofficial copy is acceptable)
