I am an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical, Industrial and Aerospace Engineering (MIAE) at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. I am also a member of the Applied Mathematics Lab of the national research center, Centre de Recherches Mathématiques (CRM).
My main research activities are currently in nonlinear vibrations and elastic waves in periodic media with applications ranging from turbomachinery and aircraft structures to phononic crystals and mechanical metamaterials. Most recently, I have been working on dynamic instabilities and non-reciprocity in mechanical metamaterials.
