Biography

Rodolfo W. L. Coutinho is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Concordia University, Canada. He received the ACM MSWiM'19 Rising Star Award and the 2018 Pierre Laberge Prize at the University of Ottawa. He also received the 2018 Brazilian CAPES Best Thesis Award in the area of Computer Science, the UFMG Best Thesis Award in Exact and Earth Science, and Engineering, the Best Thesis Award of the Brazilian Computer Society and the Best Thesis Award of the Brazilian Computer Networks and Distributed Systems Interest Group. He also received the Best Paper Award in IEEE GLOBECOM 2019 and IEEE MASCOTS 2014. Dr. Coutinho has served as TPC Co-Chair for the IEEE ICC-AHSN Symposium 2020, ACM MobiWac 2020, and ACM DIVANET 2017.

I am working on ground breaking research activities related to the modeling and design of protocols for resource management and content delivery in IoT/IoUT and vehicular networks.
