Biography

I am currently an Assistant Professor at Concordia Institute for Information System Engineering (CIISE) at Concordia University. Prior to joining CIISE, I was a Post-doctoral Fellow at H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech. I have completed my Ph.D. at Mechanical and Industrial Engineering (MIE) department at University of Toronto, under supervision of Professor Villiam Makis.

My main research field is Quality Control and Maintenance. My research interests also include, stochastic modelling; Quality Assurance; Maintenance; Optimal Control of Partially Observable Processes, and; Condition-based Maintenance.

I have received several prestigious awards including Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) Postdoctoral Fellowship. Furthermore, I am two times recipient of Queen Elizabeth II Graduate Scholarship; recipient of Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS); recipient of Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE) award.; two times recipient of Mitacs Accelerate award which is Canada's premier research internship program; recipient of NSERC ENGAGE Grant, and; recipient of the MIE Conference Travel Grant.
