Short Biography
Dr. Amin Hammad joined Concordia in
2003 as Associate Professor at the Concordia Institute for
Information Systems Engineering. Prior to joining Concordia, he has held faculty
and visiting positions at Nagoya University, Carnegie Mellon University, the
University of Pittsburgh and the University of Tokyo. Dr. Hammad’s
research interests are in the area of sustainable
infrastructure lifecycle management systems. Dr. Hammad
has edited one book and published four book chapters and more than 120 papers
in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. He is the recipient of several
research awards in Japan and Canada including the Fulbright Research Chair
award and the Japanese Monbusho Scholar award.
