The WBDG is Comprehensive yet succinct Up-to-date Knowledge-based. Creatively linked to information across disciplines and traditional professional boundaries. Intelligently linked to the Construction Criteria Base (CCB)

    And more!

    Overview of the WBDG.org

The Whole Building Design Guide at WBDG.org is meant to condense the vast amount of data about building design and products into more usable, up-to-date information. Users will be able to access specific information through Resource Pages by way of three major categories: Building Types, Design Criteria, and Products & Systems. These Resource Pages are reductive summaries on particular topics written by industry experts, and provide links to both internal pages and external sites.

Additionally, WBDG.org is a powerful, intelligent interface for the NIBS Construction Criteria Base (CCB) ¡ª the single integrated system for distribution of federal facility criteria ¡ª creating the only highly accessible access point for all military, federal, and private-sector building criteria.

This interim version of the WBDG (version 1.5) provides users with guidance and resources on Sustainable Design. While major branches of the WBDG are still under construction, the information associated with Sustainable Design is largely complete and available for inspection. As new segments of the WBDG site are finished they will be posted on a regular basis and announced on the left hand banner.
