    Essay:

    Dynamic Buffer Zones

"Condensation in exterior walls and roofs can lead to many moisture problems, e.g. icicles, corrosion, wood rot, spalling of masonry and mortars, mold production. When the causes include raised indoor humidity, an imperfect but compliant air barrier, and building pressurization, one or more of these problems is inevitable. The Dynamic Buffer Zone (DBZ) concept is a new technology that can prevent wall and roof condensation absolutely ¨C even with imperfect remedial repair drawings, imperfect construction assembly and with operational neglect.
