Abstract:
This paper is based on a pilot- project carried out on a residential construction site in Helsinki, during the construction and after introduction of the building. As part of the project there was developed and tested a humidity measurement system to control potential risk details in the building. The system allows measuring relative humidity and temperature in measurement tubes installed in the structures either continuously or with single measurements from time to time. The principle of the system and the structures that were studied in the project are presented in this article. The moisture behavior of the insulation of the resilent concrete floors and the masoned brick facade detail measured with this system will also be discussed.
