Abstract:
This paper is the result of a literature review on environmental requirements for fungal growth indoors. Popular and not quite precise opinions on the 'high humidity of the environment' necessary for fungal growth have been clarified by information on their environmental requirements (for instance, water activity) contained in a variety of publications.
