(page 32) recommends vendors consult with indoor environmental consultants, industrial hygienists or environmental health professionals, including the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) and the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) when mold contamination is extensive (exceeding 32 sq. ft.). The IICRC S500 Standard (page 32) recommends you consider sampling before, as well as after remediation work, and also during the procedures for the purpose of monitoring work progress.
