Abstract:
The porous medium code is a 2D Fortran program previously developed (Couture et al., 1995) and the code used to solve Navier-Stokes equations is the commercial

software FLUENT 6. The coupling method consists of executing the porous medium code for one time step and successively executing the CFD code for the same time step.
