The following are some general requirements I have:

Prospective students who want to join my research group should have one or more of the following skills:

  • Excellent academic standings
  • Good/Excellent programming skills in Java and/or Web based application development
  • Familiarity with Eclipse and development of Eclipse plug-ins
  • Knowledge representation expertise
  • Natural language processing expertise
  • Good/excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a research group environment
  • Good/excellent communication skills in (English)
  • Potential Master students should/have to enroll in the Software Engineering Master program option

Current openings:

Master students: There are currently 3-4 openings

  • In general Master projects will involve both, a practical and a theoretical part.
  • The projects topics will depend on the current needs of the project group and the interest of the prospectus student

Ph.D. students: There are currently 1-2 openings

Research interest should be related to the general area of software traceability (including source code, requirements, design, process traceability)
