This project focuses on the Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) aspects of Internet of Things (IoT). It started in 2014 and aims at the design, the prototyping, and the performance evaluation of architectures for cost efficient applications and services provisioning in IP WSNs. Technologies such as cloud computing and network function virtualization (NFV) are used.

On the one hand, we will propose virtualization architectures to enable cost efficient provisioning through dynamic allocation and sharing of WSNs' resources. On the other hand we will introduce services and applications provisioning platforms that will enable third party component re-use and raise the level of abstraction of the virtual IPWSN resources in order to cater to the needs of different categories of users.
