There are three servers in the network lab, all of them will be put in the same vlan. They have different functions in the lab. Note:

• TFTP server on Gizmo is used to load the lab configuration files. When a router boots up, it will download the configuration files from TFTP server.
• FTP server is only used for the Admin to store and backup the configuration.
• DHCP service provided by switch 3550 directly.
• Syslog server is used for all Cisco routers and switch
• NTP service is provided by Linux server and the Gateway. The gateway time can be associated with the time server on Internet.
• Filers (User's home). Each user /home is provided by the Gateway. Actually these /home are on the encs filer and mounted on the Gateway. But the user can logon this server to run any commands in a shell.
