Professional management of the companies that manufacture, distribute and use building materials is perhaps the most critical requirement for developing the technologically advanced housing our society will demand in the 21st century. A dynamic network of manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers coordinate the development and delivery of sophisticated materials and products to end-users in the construction industry. The Building Materials and Wood Technology program at the University of Massachusetts prepares students to be leaders in this broad professional field.
