Real-time System Lab - COEN421

The Real-time System lab is located in H-867 and is equipped with several target applications that include real-time development stations and target machines with QNX system, all connected over local area networks. The development stations are the desktop machines running QNX and mounting various file systems from ENCS servers.

QNX Lab - COEN320

QNX Lab is in H-863 and there are 12 QNX workstations in this lab. Windows 7 with some real-time packages is installed on each development workstation. The lab is open to COEN320 students only. Once you have registered the course, your real-time account will be created at the beginning of the semester, so you can use it for your course assignments or projects.

Linear System Lab - ELEC481

The lab is equipped with advanced equipment for the study of feedback control systems. Each apparatus may be transformed into several dynamically distinct plants so that one system does the work of many. Most systems can be easily reconfigured for simple SISO to complex MIMO operation .

Real-time Controller - ELEC483

The 2 Degrees of Freedom (2DOF) helicopter model is fixed to a vertically mounted shaft that is free to rotate to left and right giving it a degree of freedom in Yaw (changing of y , or direction). The vehicle is suspended in a frame on the vertical shaft so that it is free to swing up and down giving it a degree of freedom in Pitch (changing of q , or angle).
