Description |
The goal of the project is to design and build a multifunctional Smart Home system.
Requirements:
- stand-alone (no PC required)
- remote access/administration via Internet
- ability to control home appliances (ex.: a microwave)
- security system features:
> sending alerts: via Internet (on-screen pop-up), SMS (Internet), GSM (stand-alone)
> snap-shooting/recording/streaming the 'crime scene'
> keyless entry (fingerprint/eye reader)
> various sensors compatibility, including wireless ones
- outputs to control various devices (ex.: drain pump, fire extinguisher)
- other features, and bells & whistles (ex.: temperature sensor) |
