Title |
FM Wireless Receiver |
Supervisor |
Dr. Glenn Cowan |
Description |
In this project, a receiver will be designed that can receive radio signals in the commercial FM radio band, 88-108 MHz. The receiver will be designed using integrated circuit technology using Sound Design Technologies 2.5 GHz Bipolar technology, with a minimum of external components. This project affords students the opportunity to gain experience in radio design as well as RF integrated circuit design.
In the event that multiple qualified groups are interested in this project, one group could build a transmitter allowing a complete wireless link to be implemented
