Description |
The project is about the design and implementation of real-time parking management system that will rely on low cost wired sensor networks. This project will ensure automatic parking management as well as convenience and ease to the customers. The system should recognize whenever a spot is available or occupied, and the information is sent to a server using a wireless or wired connection. The user can access the website through his phone where he/she can know how many spots are available on every floor. This system can be used in large parking areas such as airports, malls etc. (Optional): the website can contain a map of the overall parking where the available slotâïïïï��ï��ïï��ï��ïïï��ï��ïï��ï��ïïïï��ï��ïï��ï��ïïï��ï��ïï��ï��s position can be viewed. The project will consist of several sensors that will be connected to a microcontroller which will then send the information to the website. |
Student Requirement |
Knowledge in microcontrollers, digital design and telecommunication skills.
Knowledge in website development embedded programming (C++).
