Title Laser Hockey Game
Supervisor Dr. Anjali Agarwal
Description It is developed from the concept of table hockey. The hockey puck is produced by a laser beam, which is projected on a smooth surface (play field). On each side, a player will use a paddle to hit the puck. When the puck reaches a specified region of the play field, it counts for a goal. The motion of the laser beam emitter is controlled by motors, which can achieve two dimensional movements. The paddles consist of light sensors. They receive light signals and communicate with the central controller, and so to adjust the movements of the laser beam. The scores of the players will be kept in a database, and the winner will be indicated.
