The objective of this project is to design, integrate and implement the electrical component of the lunar rover for the NASA Lunabotics Competition of 2012. This entitles the design of a main power system, a comprehensive control system and a WIFI-based communication system, which will then be augmented by the Computer/Electrical Engineering team software and integrated within the Mechanical Engineering team frame design in order to form the fully functional robot. The international
competition requires the device to function on a simulated lunar
environment and to be capable of harvesting regolith within a specified time period.
