Title |
A Wearable Breathing Detector System |
Supervisor |
Dr. Rabin Raut |
Description |
The system will detect the acoustic signal of the breathing of a human (subject). It will use several filters and an algorithm to decide if breathing signal is present or not. There will be a transmitter to send the detected result to a distant receiver.
|
Student Requirement |
[Prerequisite knowledge, course background, etc]
1. Use of transducers to detect audio signal.
2. Frequency range of breathing signal
3. Filter circuits
4. Decision (digital) circuits
5. Transmit-receive system (could be a simple 0/1 logic signal driving an LED)
|
Tools |
[Software, hardware, test equipment, etc]
1. Signal generator
2. Power supply
3. OP-AMP/OTA /Comparator chips
4. DSP chip for DFT generation
5. R,C components
6. LEDs or other detection devic(s)
