Title |
Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) |
Supervisor |
Dr. Amir Aghdam (ECE), Dr. Ali Dolatabadi (MECH) |
Description |
The goal of this project is to design and build an autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) so that it may one day participate in the Robosub Competition, hosted by the AUVSI foundation. The focus on the project is full control of the AUV, in terms of speed, depth and stability. To be able to demonstrate the control, the AUV will perform tasks that are realistic and typical to AUV's. The location of the AUV is to be known at all times, so a form of navigation will be needed as well as wireless communication between the AUV and the user. |
