Supervisor |
Dr.R. Raut |
Description |
The Liquid Level and Volume Detector (LLVD) is intended to be a small size hand-held device that will be used with various types of tanks. The LLVD should be a low cost unit to make it attractive to companies and homeowners. Examples of the use of the LLVD are:
Companies having liquid tanks located in different remote locations and need to measure the liquid level and approximate volume in these tanks.
Homeowners who want to measure the water level and approximate volume in their water tanks without having to open the cover and look down the tank.
Homeowners who want to measure the level of liquid gas in cooking gas cylinders without having to lift the gas cylinder to find out how heavy or light it is.
Campers who want to measure the liquid gas level in a camping gas cylinder.
If other uses for the LLVD are identified, the device will either be readily able to meet the identified requirements or will be further developed to satisfy the new use. |
