Title |
Performance Tracking Hockey Puck |
Supervisor |
G. Cowan |
Description |
In partnership with McGill’s Ice Hockey Research Group, this group will put sensors such as high-g accelerometers inside a hockey puck to help researchers answer key biomechanical questions about player/stick/puck interaction. Log/transmit/display the data. Use wireless triangulation to track the puck’s location.
Please note: I am keen to supervise other projects under the umbrella of smart sports technology, whether it be for running, cycling, cross-country skiing, or the sports in which your group participates. In total, I plan to supervise one project.
