Title |
Drone Monitoring System |
Supervisor |
Luis Rodrigues |
Description |
With drone regulations around the world increasing and new devices such as delivery and uber drones coming, we want a way to track their location and drones approaching restrictive areas such as airports and high density areas (downtown, tall buildings). When a drone enters a restricted area, the drone will autonomously get out of the restricted area. To know if there is a restricted area, a yellow LED will turn on when approaching the area and a red LED will turn on when the drone is inside the restricted area to warn to operator.
We will have a website displaying an interactive map of the world that shows the position of registered drones flying and the location of restricted areas. Selecting a drone will display its relevant information like its ID, positioning, altitude and manufacturer for example. It will also have a search box to locate a specific drone on the map by ID. |
