Title Indoor Mapping and Navigation System
Supervisor Dr. Benali and Dr. Shmuel
Description The objective of this project is the development of a two-part indoor mapping and positioning system. The first component of the system is a sub-system whose purpose is to learn to navigate an indoor environment, and create a representation of this environment that facilitates path-finding between points of interest. Examples of points of interest may include user-specified rooms and emergency exits. The second component is a navigation sub-system which can be used to access the representation of the environment generated by the first component.
