Description |
Our team goal is to provide an environmentally friendly, automated/manually
controlled method of lawn mowing for large rectangular flat areas of grass, such as soccer
fields. Our lawn mower will have the option of being fully automated and will be able to
navigate itself on a given lawn. The mower will include both software and mechanical
safety precautions to avoid collisions and ensure maximal safety for the surrounding
environment. The machine will also be fully electric, making it a great alternative
compared to combustion mowers. It will have a docking station which is where the
mower will charge the battery(s). The scope of this project will be to convert a
pre-existing mower into an automated/manually controlled machine. |
