Title |
Prosthetic Limb |
Supervisor |
Rodolfo Coutinho |
Description |
The goal of our project is to design and create a functional prosthetic device for
amputees. The prosthetic device will use software and signal processing to read the
residual electrical muscle signals in the amputated limb and control the mechanical
prosthetic. The artificial limb will be 3D printed and should allow for features such as
grip feedback and analytics, and should be capable of being calibrated for the specific
amputated limb. Additionally, a control system loop will be implemented in order to
improve the prosthetic’s response. |
